Refurbishment of existing Newtown Power Station Boiler House and Turbine Hall, with the conversion and construction of a new 2 000m² storey building within the outer restored facades of Turbine Hall. The project was delivered for Turbine Square II (Pty) Ltd, with FSPM Development & Project Management as Principal Agent, TPS Architects (Pty) Ltd as Architect, and Turner & Townsend as Quantity Surveyor. Mechanical / Electrical Engineer: Spoormaker & Partners / Rawlins Wales & Partners. Structural & Civil Engineer: WSP Africa. Development Managers: Renlia Developments (Pty) Ltd. The erection and completion of a new 8200m² two storey office building on three levels of basement and semi-basement parking, including services, roads, landscaping & other related site works etc. The project was delivered for Hollard Insurance, with Duncan Rhodes Project Management (Pty) Ltd as Principal Agent, GLH Architect as Architect, and LWA Quantity Surveyors and BTK Pretoria Inc. as Quantity Surveyor. Mechanical / Electrical Engineer: Adaptive Resource Engineers / Mpumelelo Engineering. Structural & Civil Engineer: LC Consulting.
